Details
A one-of-a-kind sculptural garment created from recycled knitwear and shaped entirely by hand in Spain.
Discarded knitted garments are given a new material identity through a process of stiffening and textile manipulation. The knitwear is treated with plant-based gelatin and shaped using elastic tension to create permanent folds, gathers and organic volumes.
The process transforms a familiar, soft material into a structured three-dimensional surface while preserving traces of the garments it came from. Each volume is individually formed by hand, making this piece entirely unique.
