A one-of-a-kind skirt reconstructed from an antique bedsheet and vintage medical gauze, shaped entirely by hand in Spain.
Domestic and utilitarian textiles carrying their own traces of time and use are brought together and transformed through distressing, gathering and textile manipulation.
The process creates an irregular surface of folds, exposed edges and layered textures, preserving the imperfections and history of the original materials while reconstructing them into a new silhouette.
